I am addicted to One Piece!! I love Chopper more but he's harder to draw and I don't want to ruin his cuteness... ^^"
Crepe cakes are definitely more time consuming to make compared to normal cakes so be prepared... or maybe it's just me being slow?
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups milk
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
whipped cream
nutella
dark and white chocolate
food coloring
- Scramble the eggs, add sugar, milk, water, vanilla extract and melted butter.
- Add the wet mixture to the flour and leave in the fridge for a few hours to chill.
- Run the mixture through a sieve before using to make sure there aren't any random chunks in the batter.
- Use a 1/4 cup measuring spoon to scoop the batter into the frying pan.
- Swirl the pan around to evenly distribute the batter across the bottom.
- When the crepe un-sticks from the bottom of the pan and the sides start drying up, it's time to flip.
- Set aside to cool as you finish up the whole batter.
- If you end up with uneven sides, feel free to even it out with a round object like a bowl and cut around it.
- Once again, set the crepe in the fridge to chill before putting cream on it.
- Spread some Nutella on the bottom layer and stick to a surface to prevent the crepes from sliding around when stacking it.
- Spread on the Nutella and then some whipped cream and repeat with all the crepes.
- Be sure to keep the middle part of the cake thinner than the sides.
- Using a plastic film, draw your design on top with dark chocolate and color it in.
- Spread a thin layer of white chocolate on top of your design as a base so it's sturdier.
- To finish up, drizzle on some more chocolate and cocoa powder and it's done~
